My work sits at the intersection of structural engineering, construction risk and insurance.
I'm a Chartered Structural Engineer (CEng MIStructE) specialising in structural and construction risk, with experience across structural design and detailing, latent defect insurance and construction all risk type insurance.
My current work focuses on reviewing projects from an insurer's perspective - identifying key technical and buildability issues before these can result in claims, delays and reputationaI
damage.
I spent over 10 years in structural design ranging from small domestic extensions to world class stadia and most everything in between.
Since 2021 I've been working in the insurance industry as a Construction Risk Engineer.
